Lens color changes both how the world looks and how the sunglasses appear on the face. A darker tint, however, is not proof of stronger UV protection. Before choosing by color, verify the specification and protection label for the exact model.
Gray sunglass lenses
Gray tints are generally chosen for a relatively neutral view of color while reducing overall brightness. They can be a straightforward option for everyday bright conditions when the product is specified for that use.
Brown and amber lenses
Brown and amber tones can create a warmer view and a stronger sense of contrast for some wearers. The result depends on tint density, coating and the environment, so two brown lenses should not be assumed to perform identically.
Green lenses
Green tints can offer a visually balanced mix of color and contrast. Assess the actual lens rather than relying on the color name alone, because shade and transmission vary between products.
Rose and pink lenses

Gradient lenses

Mirrored lenses
